The Sabbath is the seventh day. Sunday is the Lord's day. The light was created on the first day i.e "the Lord's day" aka Sunday.
Interesting. Is that implying they were using a 7 day calendar?

Well it's far warmer where I live because it's summer.... so... global warming!!!!!1111!!!!111:doh::uzi::powpow::hys::codeak::codeak::inlove::cheers:🤪

Presidents of US reference wasn't on my bingo card today lol
love it though
You ever hear the “Candy” demo ?

By the way, a friend of mine in Seattle made the 2 string bass Chris used on that record. Out of a Gibson SG.

I remember hearing an acoustic backwoodsy version of the song that was pretty cool.

PUSA was the first cassette I remember buying with my own money lol. Loved it.

Then it all came around full circle when I found out Chris did kids music that my kids are now in love with.

Sweet bass tone

Sounds pretty good damn close through my phone bruh.
I've got a Plexi on the left channel for Malcolm, and a Marshall super lead on the right for Angus.

Both going thru a Shaffer-Vega wireless preamp pedal. Greenback speakers.

I think it's damn close. 🤷‍♂️

I was in the middle of wife number 1 and wife number 2 when that record came out.

Demo versions of Candy, Lump and a few songs that didn’t make the album like Puffy Shoes and Fuck California are available on Apple Music on the remastered version of that record.

After streaming it in my truck off the clip sharing site and comparing to the original track, my guitars sound thin.

Not enough low-mids.

Yes playing it on different devices can often reveal things you mightn't otherwise hear. It's tricky nailing the sound of other people's recordings. I know from experience. Usually I settle for some differences as long as it still sounds good. I think your recording was still very close although I didn't A-B it,

After watching an interview with the engineer on that record, I learned he only used condenser mics.. no dynamics.

Also, they put the entire band in a room and recorded the room sound.

So I switched from SM-57's to condensers, and switched from reverb to an ISO room sound and room mics.
