Please guys do not take this nonsense to serious .... it's just guitars and amps after all. Besides this is not the real measure of a man ..... mine is at least 4 inches.

Couldn't agree more. That is the same way I feel about my amps, whichever one I am using at the time.
There was some extremely stupid shit said in this thread...pretty embarrassing to those that said it, in my opinion. In the first 5 or so posts this thread took on a vibe that I have never gotten here at Rig Talk. Bummed me out.

I have no pictures ..... but in the 80's I was in one porn. It featured me pretty drunk with a couple of lesbians. I have not seen a copy of it in years. I do not think it was ever put out on DVD ?
I well not go into the graphic nature of this but I always thought it was more funny than erotic. Do not even ask about the midget in lace incident ... that story is just embarrassing. She could stand up in my back seat of my car. To say the least I had very liberal ideas about sex when I was drinking.

Give me a Marshall head and an MXR distortion plus and I'll get any tone I need...It worked for years and still works to this day but...Too many damn choices and doing it that way would just be too simple and easy...Need that angst and frustration of buying amps only to flip them cuz..it doesn't sound like a Marshall head with a boost in front of it...

Spend any time at all on the Metro Amp EVH forum and listen to the clips those guys are getting with their stock plexi spec amps and you will believe for sure that Eddie's amp was stock.
I just pulled my old Distortion +, and MXR 10 Band EQ and MXR 6-Band EQ out of the closet and wondering why I ever put them away and went on this endless quest of boutique pedals when a good old TS-9, a good old SD-1, a good old OD250 and a good old D+ will give me any overdriven Marshall tone I want. I'm selling all my "improved" and modded/upgraded versions of classic pedals too. Why upgrade all the things "wrong" with the tone of those classic designs? Those are the designs that got THAT tone. Hello?

I don't know what Brad was using either, last time I saw them he had a Soldano Decatone. I'm wagering he either had a Soldano or a Mark Series Boogie - but whatever it was decimated Neal.

Gillis is using a Line 6 Pod XT with a Boss GT-8 into the FX return of an early 80's Peavey Mace on this current tour.

Oops..... I am keeping my Evosevic and Analogman modded DOD YJM pedals. I had them both built to DOD OD250 gray spec because I'm not shelling out $500 for a vintage DOD pedal
