Proof there is a God

Notice he has made himself the authority on biblical matters. He's his own bishop. That's the problem with protestantism. There is no real authority there and the authority that is there disagrees with the other authorities there. It's pure confusion.
Where do you derive your authority?
By what standard?
You’ve been asked this a hundred times.
No answer
Don’t be a coward.
Address me directly if you’re talking about me.

Yes. Every protestant is their own ultimate authority on scripture and christian life as they decide which interpretation and so on is correct. I heard that Thomas Jefferson ended up removing whole books from the bible. That's the inevitable conclusion.
Again with the “interpretation” nonsense
The texts I have provided are 100% assertive and explicitly clear.

@VonBonfire It's not much good having church authorities that are responsible for your salvation because everyone has to work out their own salvation. You have to work out your own salvation with "fear and trembling". Ultimately it will be you standing before God on judgement day not your Bishop. It won't cut it to say "the bishop told me so and so".

All you have to do @VonBonfire is cite one biblical text or any text for that matter to support your claims.

So that we might confirm their validity.
Instead you just ramble incoherent nonsense and claim “church fathers”

Which ones?
Where is their writing?
Where is their teaching?

If I said all the early church fathers were actually lesbian women.
How would you disprove me?
Go

Provide evidence supporting the contrary

This is why some protestants now reject the Pauline epistles entirely or have gay women pastors or a dude pastor married to another dude. Like I said, choose your own adventure christianity. If you don't like your church, you just open another one and then when someone doesn't like yours, they go and start their own until we have thousands of denominations none of which are in communion with the others. A divided body of Christ. Everyone is their own authority. "I INTERPRET SCRIPTURE BY THE HOLY SPIRIT!!!!" without tempering any of it with authoritative rulings because there is no holy tradition nor are the early church fathers regarded with any respect. Speculation is their authority.

It’s obvious there is no foundation to what these “orthodoxy church fathers” held to and you won’t provide any proof. So I’ll join in on the fun.

The early church fathers all had pet unicorns, beautiful creatures. It’s true, it was 200 years before the New Testament though. ROTFLOL

I think you're missing the point. His contention is that you are lacking half or more of what it means to be Christian because you aren't Orthodox.
No dude
You’re missing the point
What does it mean to be orthodox?
Explain it.
Show us
Show us the text.

Within your framework that the bible is the only source of authority for a christian they are maybe (See problems about varying interpretations w/in Protestantism).

And yet you have still provided zero proof to anything these “early fathers” held to. Just your words.

You are a lying hypocrite

The doctrinal statements
I believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not created, of one essence with the Father through Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried; And He rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His kingdom shall have no end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Creator of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the prophets.

In one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.

I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come.

Amen.

Umm, I defer to Von.
He said what he held to was in harmony with the Bible. Said it several times. We’ve already established that with regard to Mary he’s wrong about that. Let’s see if he ever produces anything and we will compare it to the Holy Word of God

It’s the only source on this thread!!!!!

Are you blind to the fact that he hasn’t provided a source?
He has though. He is not a bishop or father or whatever the Orthodox have, he is an Orthodox Christian and I assume he follows what they say. Go find the sources yourself, they're not hidden.

The apostles creed.
Yes my 11 year old knows that.

What does you use to confirm its validity?
And where is Mary in this statement?
