Proof there is a God

So I guess Monte and Thumbpicker are protestant scrooges since Christmas ain't in the bible and Dec 25th was the birthday of the pagan sun god, sol invictus. NOT IN THE BIBLE.

on the contrary brother, it would completely dismantle the teachings of scripture.

#1 about all of humanity being sinful - if mary isn't then the bible would be lying
#2 about Jesus being the only sinless one - if mary isn't then the bible would be lying
#3 about how it's impossible for those in the flesh to please God apart from faith
#4 about how no man could be made righteous by the works of the law (not sinning)

and many more.

I didn't think about it that way. It's kind of a scary thought that the entirety of a religion could hinge on such a small detail.

Easter=NOT IN THE BIBLE. A pagan celebration of the false goddess, Ishtar.

You guys are in big trouble.
correct, easter is also not in the bible.
try again.

you can do it man, you can make one single point that makes sense.
I believe in you.

you know what else aint in the bible

mary being sinless
veneration

but that doesn't bother you does it.

well truth matters bro, especially when we are dealing with a document that claims to be the source of all truth.
surely you can appreciate that.

christmas isn't in the scriptures. totally correct. Wow @VonBonfire I knew you could do it
you actually acknowledged something in the bible.
I like you don't pick and choose.
I adhere to all of it.
Yep the secular version of Christmas is not important at all. We celebrate Jesus' birth if you want to call that Christmas but the word Christmas itself means nothing.

We know full well the gift giving etc is really nothing to do with Christianity.

Wrong again we enjoy the secular part of Christmas but we know it for what it is. Nothing to do with Christianity.

very difficult to sit here and listen to a guy who believes in multiple things that aren't in the bible while at the same time out of the side of his mouth claims his beliefs are in "harmony" with the bible lecture anyone on the bible or what they believe.

hypocrisy for days man.

So you have no reverence for people who gave their lives for the faith? Juan Valdez means more than the saints and marttyrs which is one more reason I chose orthodoxy over the lies and omissions of protestantism.
Respect and acknowledgement - not reverence.

We don't exult humans over other humans - that's God's job.

that isn't the discussion.
the discussion is whether it is in the bible or not.
and you cannot in good conscience say it is because if you do, you are a liar.

Your whole case has been "it's not in the bible" so now I can't say Mary was sinless before birthing Christ but you can kick back and say you celebrate a supposed christian holiday that also isn't in the bible? This is why you guys are such hypocrites.

reading is hard for you I know. scroll up and look.
I don't celebrate Christmas and I don't celebrate Easter.
stop baring false witness.

Not at all. Do you buy your Mum flowers for Mother's day. Secular Christmas gift giving etc is just a commercial exercise and most Christians know that full well. They don't idolise it or forget Jesus in all of that.
